It was a spectacular day to tour the north-east side of Lake Superior. Apart from one dark rain cloud just west of Wawa, there was just enough cloud cover to make the skies look interesting. I sent the drone up a few times and it was able to capture the awesomeness of the shoreline a lot better than I could at ground level!
I'm overnighting in Thunder Bay. It was tempting to detour off the highway this afternoon and head north to visit the moose camp. My Dad and his group have been hunting in the same spot for decades. I've been there many times, but always in the fall. Maybe I'll try to stop there on my way back.
